We are pleased to announce that effective October 1, 2009, Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. and JFE Refractories Corporation has merged to form a new company, Shinagawa Refractories Co., Ltd. (Our company name in Japanese has been changed, but that in English has not been changed.) The new structure will enable us to combine the strong business infrastructure and the world leading technology of both companies to contribute to the technological innovation of our customers at home and abroad.
