In response to recent requirements on environment preservation, SHINAGAWA places its focus on energy-saving, labour-saving, detoxification and safety. For instance, in Japan, SHINAGAWA is known for its highest performance in environment incinerators and waste melting furnaces. For steel industry, SHINAGAWA responds to a wide range of customer needs through cutting-edge technologies: molten steel flow control slide gate system (SST) and submerged entry nozzle quick change system (QTC) for ladle and continuous casting. SHINAGAWA also covers refractory design and construction: lining of blust furnaces, hot stoves and coke ovens. For quick relining of a blast furnace, SHINAGAWA introduced a large-size block ring process and received a high valuation from the customer.
